The Polly Tung Scholarship is in memory of Mrs. Tung who passed away from cancer at a young age. She had transfered to the Alvarado Middle School. According to Joan Logue who's daughter had her for a teacher, Polly Tung was a great teacher. She left a husband and a young daughter. The scholarship gives $2000 to deserving James Logan graduating students.
